Major thing to worry about!

headshots are crucial! destroy the head so if there is the chance that it comes back as one of those crimson heads or stalkers... because that would be annoying. and besides, the only good zombie is a dead zombie.

Don't forget the other most important thing Head Shots are one thing but damaging and/or fracturing the spinal cord is another.

a very good point. spinal cord damage, cranial destruction, and complete dismemberment will be effective. disembowelment can cuase them to bleed to death. yes. zombies can bleed to death.

Another thing is the kneecaps or elbows. Kneecap destruction can cause the zombie unable to walk while destruction of the elbows can cause the zombie to loose its arm removing the main used weapon a zombie uses.

shattering the jawbone is crucial!!! its difficult to infect if it cant bite!!

And unless you're talking about the RAGE zombies, which aren't technically zombies, zombies cannot bleed out.

yes they can. in resident evil thats the only way zombies can die. they fall and there a pool of blood. they ARE living creature, thus require blood to supply nutrients to the living, non necrosed cells.

in 28 days later when the humans finaly have a place where they are safe they talk about "zombies" starving to death because there weren't any non-infected people they could eat altough this is the rage virus you can compare it to zombies cus it's basicly the same they bite you, you get infected.

28 Days later is a quasi-zombie movie, in that it has humans eating other humans. In the end, no zombies.

THe very definition of zombie is a corpse who has risen to consume the flesh/BRAAAAAAINZ of the living. The only way to deal with them is via headshots or decapitation (unless you're suddenly trapped in return of the living dead, in which case they're FUCKING INDESTRUCTABLE!)

Zombies are corpses resurrected by some force that is explained in whatever you're reading/watching.

Corpses generally don't require food.

Corpses are susceptible to rot. So, given enough time, they will rot to nothing.

Zombies are like viruses. They are niether living nor dead. They are living enough to want to feed but dead enough to not need to feed. They are living enough to walk around but dead enough to where they do not need blood or ANY VITAL ORGANS besides the brain. and in some cases they can go even without the brain.

Case-in-point: Crawlers.

Yep. he's lost so much blood, but is still "alive", therefore a zombie cannot bleed to death.

Also, that fucker looks fairly fresh. Blood coagulates at a fairly rapid rate.
